help with antitheft please!!!!!
tonight my 90 model towncar seemed a little sluggish when i cranked it to go to diner, and after diner the starter just grunted when i tried to crank it.
so i got out and checked the batterery cable to see if it was loose and the alarm started sounding and i could not get it to quit so i unplugged the horn and it finally shut off the blinking lights a couple of minutes later. i tried to jump it and i had a good conection at both batteries but the starter would do nothing when i turned the key, lights in dash were bright no no response from ignition. any suggestions would be appreciated! |

If your TC battery is internally shorting the jump won't work effectively. If you have some redicuously heavy guage jumper cables, like welding cable for example, you may be able to get a jump working, but standard jumper cables on a fried battery aren't worth squat. My $'s on a fried TC battery. Hopefully you catch it in time before it fry's your alternator too.
