Question '00 Civic Won't Start w/ key, only remote start.

Just bought an '00 Civic EX and drove it home fine. When I tried to show off the remote start it worked fine. (well my dumb ass left it in gear, but the E brake was on). Then I notice that the hazards are flashing while I"m driving, albeit slower than normal hazards, but still annoying. So I pull over, shut it down, hazards still going. Try to start it up....nothing. Pulled the keys out remote started it put keys in and drove where I was going w/ the damn hazards annoying the damn piss out of me. Then when I shut the car off the hazards go for a minute with the keys out. When it stops I try the key again, still nothing, hazards are back, wait for them to stop again and try to get out. As soon as I open the door they go again. GETTING FRUSTRATED!!!

Any idea what's happening?

Nevermind. Found a switch in the glove box, works fine now. Fuck the remote start.
