fuel injector--check engine light

My 2000 Blazer had been running great till this morning. I started it up and went to the store...when I got back in and started it up again the car started to rumble and shake like crazy. I drove it back home...the whole time the car is rumbling--kind of like a rough idle but not exactly. At this point the check engine light comes on and is flashing on and off. On my way to the repair shop I took it to the Gas Station to top it off. Upon leaving the problem seemed to ease a bit.

I got word back from the shop that 2 of the 4 jets were completely clogged and that they need to be replaced. Does this sound right? If so, what should they be charging me for the parts and service? Can they just be cleaned rather than replace?

Thanks,
York

Re: fuel injector--check engine light

on a 2000 ... hmmm ... change your fuel filter pronto and run Chevron Techron Fuel Treatment to clean the injectors ($6) and . I'd also clean your EGR (search forum on how to do this ... its easy).
