Fuel Regulator

99 grand am 3.4 - I smelled a strong odor of gas this morning after starting the car. This part had gas (on and around it) this morning. I thought probably the seal to the fuel rail was bad, so I wiped it dry and restarted the car. I didn't see anything leaking on or around the fuel regulator?

Re: Leaking Fuel Regulator

Shouldn't be gas around it for any reason, the gas should stay in it. I'd replace it just because I saw gas around it, that is unless I spilled gas onto it.
