Exclamation 1993 Buick Regal Custom help

I need some help! My baby was totaled a few months ago and it's just not the same. It was my grandmother's car, so I know the history. It now has a salvage title and I'm planning on driving it until it falls apart. nfortunatly it's already started to do that. Here's a list of problems I'm having and if anyone knows how to help me please let me know!

1) Front passanger speaker is blown.
2) Front driver window whistles, and one of the back windows whistle too.
3) Leather seats are torn, but I don't want covers to look tacky.
4) There's a short or something in the driver's door that causes the locks to not work from time to time.
5) When I start my car there's water underneath it, but only after it's been sitting for over 8 hours.
6) Radio antena doesn't go down all the way.
7) Inside of the windows are greasy.
8) Car is stinky, no matter how many times I vaccum it out!
9) Runs really rough sometimes.

Any advise would be great! Thanks so much!!!

Re: 1993 Buick Regal Custom help

Well most of that sounds easy enough, and i can understand wanting to keep it but, when you say totaled, is it safe to drive? Anyway, The seats could be replaced check your local junk yard, the power antenna, speaker, and door wiring could also be fixed fairly easy. the windows you may want to get a body shop to look at that, the accident may have put the doors out of alignment and get some good glass cleaner and a strong air freshner or replace the carpet. did water get in the car, Rain?
Good luck!

Best option? donate to goodwill!

No, easy fixes for the most part

1) Front passanger speaker is blown.
-Head to a junkyard and get a new speaker
2) Front driver window whistles, and one of the back windows whistle too.
-make sure theyre seating into the rubber gaskets properly by squirting water at the window seams. If they are leaking, remove the door panel and adjust the travel of the windows.
3) Leather seats are torn, but I don't want covers to look tacky.
-They make leather repair stuff, not sure where to buy though
4) There's a short or something in the driver's door that causes the locks to not work from time to time.
Take off the door panel and look for bad wires, and replace all that look faulty, especially in the power door lock circuit.
5) When I start my car there's water underneath it, but only after it's been sitting for over 8 hours.
-might be the AC compressor, not sure how much water youre talking about.
6) Radio antena doesn't go down all the way.
-get some 3 in 1 oil, and lube the antenna in the on position, it should retract fully after a few tries.
7) Inside of the windows are greasy.
-One word: WINDEX
8) Car is stinky, no matter how many times I vaccum it out!
-Get some carpet shampoo, leather cleaner, and leather conditioner. Use some of that windex from problem 7 to clean the dash, but be careful around the white lettering on various plastic pieces. Febreze the headliner and carpet and floormats. Maybe get some leather smellings stuff
9) Runs really rough sometimes.
-Check your fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, or injectors first, then get back to us.

I guess I forgot to mention that there was no frame damage. The car is safe. The drivers seat is powered, and the electricity in the door is messed up from when some drunk college student knocked off the side mirror and scraped their car ageinst mine. Windex won't work I tried it. I used rubbing achohol and that worked like a charm though. Thanks to my boyfirend we know that more than likely it's the spark plugs. He couldn't get to them. The car whistled before the accident, there is a screw missing, but I don't know if I can get it a Lowe's. One more thing...The paint on the steering wheel is comming off. Can I repaint it? Thanks guys!

You can buy the steering wheel paint at your GM dealer.
