celica shakes

ok so i am looking at a 1990 celica with about 110k on the odo.
i talked to the owner today on the phone, and he said that the car shakes at about 35mph, now its my thought that this could either be the balljoints or the front struts, but i am unfamiliar with this car, so maybe someone here can give some more insight

could be alot of things, you dont have enough info yet to say..only @ 35mph,starts @ 35mph, any gear?etc

ok, so i went and checked out the car today...great looking car for 15years old. little bit of rust in the rear panel behind the wheel, couple dents in the trunk....but that brings me to the problem in the front...i talked to the owner, he said he replaced the ball joints in the back and the struts in the back, and said the mechanic said more than likely the front would have to be done as well, so im guessing thats the problem right there. he also told me i could take it for $500 so im willing to spend some money to get it riding right.

oh, and the car starts shaking around 20 and gets worse on up....but it also does it just rolling down hill, turned off, in neutral etc.

my guess would be wheel bearings or cv joints. u drove it then? he said 35mph' your saying 20--maybe its getting worse ? doubt its the struts though. how much did you say--you didnt it (the car) costs?

finding a 1990 celica with 130k and good body condition: $500

towing it 32miles to the local auto shop: $210

fixing alot more than you expected to: $1200

selling buick with 195k miles on it for $1500 and almost breaking even: an odd sense of confusion/elation
