word of the wise: radio install

just posting up a comment about my aftermarket radio install experience, which almost caused me a huge headache due to one simple overlooking... it is imperative that you ground off your aftermarket radio to the chassis of the car. you will not get any electrical response at all from the aftermarket radio and you will believe its either broken or hooked up incorrectly, all because one wire is not touching the metal of the car i learned this the hard way... funny thing is, i had connected the aftermarket ground wire to the wiring adapter properly, but for some reason, and im guessing this is the case with all 93-97 altimas, the pin slot of the factory connector for where ground is supposed to meet up with the aftermarket connector does not exist.. IN ANY CASE, hooked up the aftermarket radio ground to the chassis, and... voila! electricity.
