Motor Mount problems

I have posted this already somewhere with no response, we replaced the left side mount already, and now we are working on the front engine mount, and it is a pain in the ass, we got it out and replaced the mounts with new ones, but the bracket is at an angle to the block, and the bolts wont thread due to the angle the new mount stuff the urethane (sp) dont snap there is always one side of the mount sticking out and i dont know its so hard to explain if anyone has any ideas how do put back the front motor mount, usually replacing the mounts is done with the engine out, but my tranny and motor was already rebuilt so i don't have the luxury thanx for the help in advance. Re: Motor Mount problems

I don't know what kind of car you have. Put it in your sig (make, model, yr)

You can probabyl jack up the engine underneath the oil pan (put a wooden board and towel between the jack and oil pan so you don't dent it), and then bolt on the motor mount when the engine has been raised to a level that will allow the bolts to thread.
