Always Characters
i kno it, u kno it, he and she knos it. there r character-types that r in every anime and manga u see or read. i'm compelled to make a list of all these, just for the hell of it. i cant find my list rite now, but wen i do i'll post it, till then post up the ones u kno of. we'll discuss them and have a blast doin it. well peace.

What i want to know is this:
How come they usually make the hero white?! Why dont they make the hero Japanese like they are? I dont understand that Like Naruto, Blonde hair, blue eyes... I dont get it. Its cool tho, but they do that in alot of animes

^ but i'm not only talking about Naruto.... ALOT of animes have white guys as the heros of the story
And even if he has a demon inside him, he's still the main character who protects the village and is a good guy not a demon

Take a look at the American military... what do we do? We "protect". Now that is debateable but that's our stance. Perhaps it's a level of respect for that? Honestly I don't know... maybe we're just easier to draw...

A lot of times characters are drawn with distinct features to set them apart from other characters and "extras" milling about the anime. Colored hair, crazy hair styles, personality, and even nationality or race. All done to draw focus to them.
Plus America has somewhat of an influence on the Japanese culture and there's no telling what's on their minds when they create characters based on our features.
