will 90-91 HB headlights mount to 4g4d?

just curious.. got a friend wanting to buy my projectors and he wants to know if they will fit his 4g4dr i told him prolly not but im not sure. replies will be appreciated

They are differnt but it shouldnt take much to make them fit.

all headlights 88-89 are same (crx, hb, and 4d) and all headlights 90-91 are same (crx, hb, and 4d)

You sure? the four door ones carry a differnt part number I thought. And the headlights didnt change in 90, thats the corner lights.

hey dude are u sure? i mean he might have a 88-89 but then its just switching brackets n all. i just wanna make sure cause he's leaving for Puerto Rico tommorow where he keeps his car and i dont wanna sell him something that doesnt fit.

As far as I know, the only difference between ALL the 88-91 civic/ crx/ 4g4d is the mounting brackets behind the actual headlight - just swap that mounting bracket with his stock one and he should be good.

yes, all the headlights are exactly the same except for the mounting brackets. All you have to do is remove the projector housings from the mounting brackets and put them in the brackets for the stock headlights.

I actually used the brackets that came with my projectors (for a CRX) on my hatch. The only actual difference was how the corner lenses are attached to the mounting bracket. Wish I'd swapped out the brackets.

I Second that, ive done the same swap, also to a 4 door.

he has to use his brackets from the fodo.
