ANYTHING

It depends on the size of the Turbo. All turbos are different some ranging from 0-6psi at 4000 rpm and some from 0-20psi. It depends on the application. A turbo that creates 6 psi at 4000 rpm on a 3lt engine would not be the same at 4000 rpm on a 2lt engine. You must first work out what psi your car wants to hold and go from there.
Basically unless you change your internals do not exceed 6-8psi and you should be fine. If you want to spend a mid ammount of cash, with a few pistons and a stronger bottom end you can go up to say 10-14psi.
Im in Oz so for locations of shops you will have to ask someone else.

the amount of boost is going to depend on the size of it. you can get a turbo kit real cheap if you only want like 10psi. i used to have a b18b ls/vtec setup with a garrett T28 and i liked it. it gave me a little more than 240 with a pretty descent rebuild..but it wasnt too expensive for it all. now i have a b16a from a 2000 si. i did a full rebuild and got a garrett T3/T4. it can push out around 30-40psi..where the T28 could maximum 10-12psi.

if you want big gains with an ls engine you are going to need a bigger turbine though...one major problem with honda engines is their small displacement..but with some nice sleeves, lower compression pistons, stronger rods...you can shove a lot more turbo in there.

i cant help you out with shops..im imagining we are far away. but its a cool thing to learn on your own...if you have help from someone who knows whats going on.

"turbo"...it just has a nice ring to it...
