Re: Yes! i found it (Revell BMW 850)

Lol, I'll say "good for you", but I have no idea if that's a rare kit, or just one that you've been wanting for awhile or something, I don't know. I know very little of why people buy what kits. I just buy ones that look fun! Haha.

That is all..

Well then that's awesome. Enjoy! Are you going to build it or keep it as a collector's item?

ha ! sorry, but i have the tamiya 850i, too much detail, im saving it for a while till i have the skill for mine.

i was gonna buy one of these off ebay, the seller had sold about 10 of them before (an a whole bunch of motorcycle parts) the tamiya kit has about 5-6 sprues, when it arrived it was still in the plastic wrapping.

Nice, Baxik!

There are some things you should be wary of; the hood has a strange bow in it, which I didn't manage to get out... And some parts do not fit. For example, the dashboard doesn't fit properly in the interior tub... at least in my model.

But it is very nice! You're right to save the kit for later; I built mine very early, it was my first or second model and it didn't come out too well

same here, i have the Tamiya 850i in which the plastic parts where made in Germany by Revell and repackaged in Japan by Tamiya

i also have the Tamiya BMW 320i also made in Germany by Revell and repackaged by Tamiya

i bought both kits online from Hobby Resource Plaza in the US and i assume Tamiya released the kits in america and i cant remember if Tamiya released them here in the UK but ive seen the Revell kits here

Re: Yes! i found it (Revell BMW 850)

This is the way I finished mine. I have trouble with the parts in the rear trunk and the mechasism of the hood. I leave the rear trunk sealed and the front hood hood opened.
