Oh guys... i really screwed the pooch on this one.

My girlfriend of 15 months and I broke up on sunday night. It's 100% my fault. I made a really REALLY big error in judgement and fucked EVERYTHING up. I don't know what to do. She's moving out of the apartment now, as am I becasue i can't afford it. I'm crashing at my buddies place temporarily, but i have no car now, and i can't find the title to my rx-7 to sell it. The z34 - her parents are taking it back, which is justified...

it's all justified, and i deserve it, so i'm not complaining. But this is the first time that I was the one doing the heartbreaking, and man, it hurts about a million times worse then anything i've felt before. How do we hurt the most the ones that we love? I managed to piss her off so bad, that she actaully broke her hand on me while she was beating me. SHe bounced my head off of a brick wall and split my lip. I didn't try to stop her. I only wish that it made things better...

My buddies are trying to cheer me up, but it doesn't work... the whole "hating on women" angle doesnt work when you're not wronged by one. It just makes me feel worse. bleh

I just want her back, i want everything back to how it was... But it's not going to happen, and I still haven't fully realized it

Anyone have a time machine i could borrow?

I do! Although, the thing is...you only get to use it once every 10 years. So me being the devilish little perv I am, went back in time...and banged Marilyn Monroe. It was good times...unless you can wait ten years, then sure, you can use it then...for a price...

Cheer up bucko! We're only human. It's in our nature to screw things up. Just know this: No single person can ever live the perfect life. Nonetheless have the perfect relationship. Of course there was JC, but no other person can. I'm sure you'll think of something creative yourself to apologize to your gal. Think back, try and remember something that she has wanted but you never gave her. Then, give it to her. Relive a special moment. Talk things over.

BTW...what did you do to screw things up so badly anyway??

let her move out, cool down and then try to talk about it later. unless you have used up all 9 lives already.

hey man, I know how you feel. I had a gf for 4 years and I completely fucked things up. We have since both moved on and we are happy. But I do wish I could make things all the same again. People do tend to hurt the ones we love the most. But I always think that good things do come out of the worst. Just give it a bit and try to talk to her.

The whole situation sounds like it sucks. I get all depressed when I screw up a short relationship(1-2 weeks). If there's nothing you can do about it, take advantage of it. Find a hot girl that would be sympathetic to situation, tell her your side of the story, and maybe she'll feel sorry for you. Who knows what could happen after that.

This will probably be of little consolation, but you'll only come out on the other side of all this a better person. I think everybody goes through something like this at some point. If you don't, you're probably not living enough. Realizing that your life has been permanently changed because of something stupid you did is not an easy thing to deal with, but you have no choice. Doing that is how you learn a little more about yourself and why you made the mistake you did, whatever that might be.

I'm sure many people here identify with how you're feeling. I screwed up a similar situation a while back, and for the longest time I just wasn't myself. I couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, dropped about 25 pounds and was generally hating life because I knew that every bit of it was my fault. I think the mere fact that you feel this way is a positive thing. It's the people that shrug these things off and are completely unaffected that are in real trouble.
