Yupp!
Build a liitle now and then, you'll be up and running in no time at all. Even if it feels you don't have the energy, take some time and sit down just to empty the head and relax for a while. That's what I do when I need to flee the weekdays.

You need to get some enegry drinks, They help. I BMX go to work do models help with my little sister, Hang out with my girlfriend etc.
I think they work pretty good. 2 of em and you should be fine.
If that doesn't help well think about how you could do it.

Re: losing my family...

Dunno, If you find an answer please let us all know.

I think it is just a matter of motivation, the time can be found if you want/need to. you just need to sacrifice a few things, like sleep and AF!

Re: losing my family...

when i was working last week i had no time to do models so you should try to at least get some modelling done during the weekends. and find a spot to permanantly leave your models out so you don't need to clean up so much and set up every time you build models.

and energy drinks are bad for you. lol. just try to get some Vitamin B(i think) in your diet every day.

Re: losing my family...

Sometimes it feels like i too donīt build at all. Some sanding on a single part and thatīs all for this week folks!
But another day , i can go straight from work, via the higway to the apartment and straight to the hobbybench and feel so creative..

We have to remember that modeling, just like fine art and other creative hobbys, is performed on how we feel; somedays you donīt feel like modeling and another weekend your creative sense flow over, and you feel like you wanna start all unbuilts at once ! ( it usually end with a lot of mock-ups at least!)

When it comes to family , we are two 30-somethings with no kids. My wife enjoys reading a lot, so we can keep doing what we both like at the same time, but without feeling that the other is "somewhere else". Cause weīre both home, and can do something together if we want to ( "-Not now darling, iīve just filled up the airbrush u see..") Do you understand me?
My wifes likes my creative hobby ( although she wonders when iīm going to finish them all), and think that itīs better than me doing sports and other "male and physical" hobbies!
