Scale Models

I recently saw a posting somewhere in here about the diecast scale model BTCC Primeras and someone was inquiring about how to obtain them within the U.S. They're available from EWA in New Jersey. Their web site is http://www.ewa1.com/ . Go to their web site and run a search under "Primera". They also carry other truly neat scale models, and you'll end up surfing their site for hours if you're into this type of thing (I believe they have the largest and most extensive inventory of scale models in the U.S.).

The one I got was the BTCC championship winning car driven by Aiello in 1/43 scale and was made in limited numbers by Onyx (which recently filed for bankruptcy and was acquired by another mfr). Though my Aiello Primera model was the last one in EWA's inventory, they still had the '98 Leslie ($23.20), '99 Leslie ($20)Reid ($10), and the Macau GP Kasikam ($14.50) when I last checked. These models are metal and are true to scale and very well detailed. If you're a Datsun/Nissan fan, they also have scale Zs, Skylines, R-390/301s, and Roadsters. My collection includes the BRE and African Safari Z's from the '70s, a Bob Sharp Racing Roadster, and the LeMans R-390.

sounds coool, dude! dont forget, Chicago Hobby Show Sept 8-9 for the public. I'll be there, hope any of you be too. it was a great show last year!

gonna try again to have HPI make a P11 body for their upcoming 1/18th scale RC cars.

yes, 1/5, and it runs, it has a 23cc, gas powered engine.
