buying subs
Well I just got back from Audio King. I heard an ad on the radio that they are having a sale on car audio. Well just for kicks I went to check out how much a set of 2 10" subs with box and amp would run me. I found a set up that I might go with. Its 2 10" Rockford subs ($34 each, normally $120 each), a 150 watt amp ($100, normally $220) and a box for $70. The total before tax is around $240. Thats exactly how much I have. I don't have enough money right now to buy it, but I want it. Should I buy the subs and the amp and find a cheaper box? Or buy the subs and the box and find a cheaper amp? Need reply soon. Sale ends Sunday.

All I can say is that sounds like a damn fine deal, but I would need all the exact specs of the amp and subs to tell you for sure. Aslo NEVER and I mean NEVER skimp on a cheaper box. The box is where your sound is. A cheaper box may destory the sound of your subs, defeating the purpose of even having them.
