Shock removal and air hammer
97 Jeep Cherokee. The rear shocks need replacing... the shocks are fine, the bushing have worn out. Not really familiar with working with air tools. If I need to use a universal socket to get to a bolt, is that an issue? Do I have to have straight access only when using an impact gun?

if you use a air impact wrench be cafeful and use it in bursts. these studs are know to bust off. you should try to soak the studs before trying to remove. i have a sheet on removing them if you break them off. holler can't send thru forum. [email protected] Dale |

. The other two I forced off, as I already had done most of the work of cutting through the rear bed as recommended in your email. The right tools and it goes rather quickly. Now, what about the front shocks? As those bolts also prone to breaking off or are the front easy to remove and replace? ted |
