Power Steering Assist
I have a hole in the pressure side of Power Steering Pump Hose. Parts Department wanted to know if I had Variable Steering Assist before I could be supplied with a replacement hose. How do I find out if I have Variable Steering Assist equipped on my 1997 Grand AM GT, 6 cyl, Engine 3100?

As far as I know all of the grand am's have variable power steering. One way to make sure you get the right part is to take the old one in with you and match it at the parts counter.
