How to reach O2 sensor connector?

I'm trying to replace the O2 sensors on a '98 Corolla. How do you reach the connector for the downstream sensor? The harness goes into a hole in the body and I can't see or reach the connector. Thanks.

It either goes up under one of the seats or under the center consol. I cant remember at this time

the Haynes manual says remove center console for 98 and later models
