battery light
I have a 2002 Cavalier with 17k miles. Every once in a while the battery light will come on for about 2-3 sec. The lights in the car do not dim so it does not seem like the alternator is shutting down. It is very ramdom and may not happen again for a few weeks. There does not seems to be any pattern as it can happen when idling or at 60mph. Does anyone have any idea or where I can view the wiring diagram. Thanks

you can view the wiring diagram in any haynes manual, about $10-20 at any auto parts store, definetly worth it, and while your their, have them test your battery, it is very possible that you need a new battery, the one you have now (assuming its the original) is more then 3 years old, its certainly possible its taking a shit, sometimes you can see signs of them dying and sometimes theyre working like a new battery one day and deader then shit the next, ALSO, nice work, 3 years and only 17000 miles, i'd never be able to do that
