Door Speakers to 6 1/2"
how do i mount these if i were to change from 4x6 to 6 1/2 after i take the door panel and grill off? can i just use the mounts where the grill was fastened to or do i have to make a new mount for the speakers? this is for a '97 SE.

|
I have used the adapters from mjm innovations they worked except for the the fact that the placement of them has to be perfect to snap the door panel on and even then ir pushes the panel out a little. The adapter has to be screwed to the door with new holes because of the way that the grand am speakers are placed differently. If you would prefer i actually have an extra pair that they sent me by mistake if you want those instead of paying $20 for a pair.
