2000 Neon Air Con just stopped

Hi all,

I have a 2000 Neon and all was working fine. One day the air con just stopped working, no clunks or nasty noises it just stopped.

I have checked the Air Con Clutch Relay fuse under the hood and it is ok. Does anyone know of any other fuses i can check or suggest what my next step would be.

Many thanks in advance

Alex

You might try a can of e z charge from your local auto parts store. When theese cars are low on 134a they will kick off as a safety precaution until you recharge the system.Grab a can with the oil and o ring conditioner in it if it dosent work then you probably have bigger problems than a relay or something. And also if you charge the a c system make sure you dont overpressure it and blow out an o ring. One can should be sufficent.I hope that works for you.

Bet it's just a fuse or one of your wires by your air conditioner is not connecting. It would be rare for it to stop all at once. Check for leaks around all air pipes for oil.
Good luck.
