Dirty Engine

I need to clean oil off of my engine from a leak that I recently had. What is the best way to do it myself without screwing up my car.

Re: Dirty Engine

use a good spray degreaser (Gunk foamy engine brite or Gumout Steam), and cover the alternator, coil-pack/module, and throttle body opening. If you take it to a car wash, do not use high pressure spray, as you could cut vacuum lines, hoses, etc...

I get mine done by the detail shop down the road. Cost me $25.00. They will do it at your home if you want. I let them do it at their shop. Let them clean up all the junk.
