auto 5spd swap ?'s

Ok guys ,......Been doing an auto to 5speed swap for a couple days. I have everthing done except for moving the tranny mount bracket and the wiring. I cant find anything with search that shows what you have to do as far as the wiring.,,,,,,I changed the ecu already......Is the blu box under the drivers side dash the control box for the auto tranny?

Thanks for any help.

E. Honda

Give me your Zed, and I'll tell you.

Here's a helpful link... Type in the Search box "auto to manual" then go right below where it says in bold "forum". Scroll down to '92-00 Civic/Del Sol. And you'll get about 20results.

Hope that helps.

Re: auto 5spd swap ?'s

yes there is a relay for the reverse light that plugs up on ur tranny. the only thing that controls ur auto trans is the ecu.

Yup, it sure is. That's why Hasport make the conversion mount for the b-series. You can do that or cut the bracket off and reweld it. Driving with the engine like that will put wear on your axles, not something I'd want to deal with.

This is a D series......

I already cut the mount off......gonna weld back tomorrow.

there is a blue tranny module or summin for the automatics right where you bolt up the clutch slave,,,,,,,I used the wires from there and ran them the slider for the auto and wired in there to bypass the clutch starting switch.
