Unhappy help w check engine light

when i was replacing the springs, had a little problems with getting the shocks out, had to shake the car to get them out, finally after i get the springs installed, and started the car, it idles very rough,( the rpm goes up and down, seems like it wants to stall) the check engine light comes on flashing, then it was blowing white smoke out of the exhaust, then i inspected it closely, it was all gas, it just blowing lots of white smokes, ,i thought then it was sitting on the jacks for so long at an angles, so i just take it around the road, it just rattling very bad,and drains a lot of gas like there is no tomorrow, white smoke just blowing out from the exhaust when i started to slowing down the car when it almost come to a full stop it then the whole car just stalls, so i thought i didnt plug in one of the electronic plugs when i unplug it to install the front strut bar, i double check that and it was fine, then i let it sit for like 3 hours and reseted the ecu, few hours later the car idles fine like normal, the check engine light is gone, no white smokes out from the exhaust, then just today going home from work, the check engine light came on again, but there arent any smokes out exhaust this time, when i just park it and put in neutual and rev the engine to about 2000 rpm, and let go of it, the needle drops and the car seems like about to stall. but it didnt.

anyone can help with this, sorry for the long post, this is for a 01 prelude 5 spd.
