i have a 99 ex i put an engine from a 98 ex in it. vacunme line is missing and check engine light is on. my car jerks (shifter also) when i press on and off the gas but in between its fine except when i'm going slow then my car shakes like its going to stall but i'm in a low gear so its all messed up. i have the old engine and thinking about rebuilding it (rod bearings went). but i don't have that much money to spend need some help thanks

try just putting on the other intake manifold and the fuel rail and injectors from the other engine. i know that when i replaced my engine i just used the old manifold and fuel rail and no check engine light.

Re: got problems
why dont u just block off the vacuum line, or run it to a vacuum source...tahts why ur car wants to stall out at idle, it has a vacuum leak
