air bag sensor location???

im trying to help my buddy out,he put a 97 front end and harness on a 1998 taurus.he says he cant find out where to plug the air bag sensors in at.apparently the 97 and 98 sensor location is different.will this even work,if so where does he plug the sensors in on the 97 front end.are the plugs for the sensors even the same?
