Ecm Code 41

I just purchased a code reader to see why my service engine light wasn't going away and the only code that came up was 41. Anybody know how I can fix this code 41 problem so I can get the light to turn off and smog my car? Oh yeah I have a 91 grand am.

code 41 is an ecm error... so as i see its to do with the ECM and that only. What you can try and is disconnect the neg. battery terminal on your battery.. and wait about 5 min.. then re connect.. turn the ignition on..and start it.. and see if its gone... if not then you might need your ecm replaced or serviced...
