Rough Idle and starting problem

Ok, I'm new at this, but here I go. After reading ALOT of the past messages that other people have posted I have almost fixed my problem. I thank you all for that but here is my current problem.

I have a 1993 GMC Jimmy with the 4.3 liter W motor, it had a rough idle, starting problems, hesitation, and surging. I changed the fuel pod, spark plugs, wires, and cleaned, and cleaned, and cleaned, and pulled the EGR valve and cleaned it too (it was stuck open).

I was wandering if anyone could tell me if there was anything I could use to clean the carbon off the bottem part of the intake without having to pull it all apart again? I just do NOT want to pull it apart again.

Also I plan on modifing it to RUN like a V-8 instead of a V-6, any good sites I need to Know about?
Thanks
Steve

Re: Rough Idle and starting problem

Does any one have any Idea about getting the carbon out or any mods I can make to the engine?

Re: Rough Idle and starting problem

check fuel pressure. If good then check your cpi system.
