with tamiya spray lacquers, how long do you have to wait ("air drying")before you can safely handle the part for assembly?
thanks, mgt |

Re: simple question (i searched!)...
well i use automotice acrylic laquers and i handle the car body at least a day after. even then you want to minimize the touching of the body. if you wanna be real safe wait a week. until then stick it in an unused microwave or a large tupperware container or something like it with a lid, as these are great dust-free places.

thanks, much appreciated! basically after 2 hours,i can handle the parts, but gently. i have 1 final question: with tamiya spray lacquers, how long do you have to wait before you can apply tamiya acryic over it, or a different tamiya spray lacquer?
thanks, mgt |

Re: simple question (i searched!)...
You can shoot Tamiya Lacquer of Tamiya Lacquer within an hour. You can shoot Tamiya Acrylic over Tamiya Lacquer within an hour as well. Just dont spray Tamiya Lacquer over Tamiya Acrylic.
