Hazards stuck ON

1997 GMC Jimmy

I broke my dang hazard button off and now they won't go off. I can push the broken botton back down into the hole and push it down until they go off, but it will not "latch". I'm gonna have to duck tape it down to get them to stay off. Pulling the fuse kills my brake lights.

Any suggestions? Can I disconnect the hazard only somewhere?

Go to www.pghconsulting.net/teal (my web site) and click on the how-to and then click on Broken Hazard Switch Repair...Cost is about 15 bux. Part numbers in the how-to
