used sheet metal

has anyone used old parts, doors / fenders , from another balzer before.
how was the fit ? the doors are my main consern. i can get rust free doors for about 100 bucks fenders about 50 bucks, but i'm wondering if they will lineup OK,using the door pins, and adjusting the striked bolts. i know you can shim the fenders.

Re: used sheet metal

make sure they are in your year group. For my 1991 i used a 94 grille 89 fenders 92 wiper cowl and a 89 hood.It all lined up nice except that the hood bolt broke on mine.

Re: used sheet metal

I have replaced two fenders
and my hood from another 94 blazer with no problems.

Like stated above.. try to stick with the same year and there should be no problems
