Angry Trigger sticking on Iwata Eclipse.

Hey all. I just got done cleaning out my airbrush. Re Assembled everything correctly. Brush worked great. But after a few flings of the trigger, it started sticking! Now the weird thing is, when I was pushing just thinner through it to clean it, it didnt stick. Can any one point me in the direction of why this happened? Thanks!
Oh, it only stuck when I pushed down on the trigger.

Re: Trigger sticking on Iwata Eclipse.

Why don't u try lubricating the part (with lubricating oil) where your trigger connects to your airbrush?

Re: Trigger sticking on Iwata Eclipse.

I wouldnt recommend lubricating it. Its possible for the oil to get into the airbrush and then it will cause numerous problems with your paint. It usually sticks because its dirty from improper cleaning.

Re: Trigger sticking on Iwata Eclipse.

Same thing happened to me. I've put drops of lube down into the "trigger hole" with no problems. It was recommended to me by a guy that'd been airbrushing for decades and solved the problem. It'll be fine as long as you don't go overboard. Also, to clarify, I'm not talking about spraying some WD-40 down in there anyways, it's just one drop of the Iwata Super Lube. The thick stuff..

The Eclipse isn't a very complicated airbrush. Even if some lube does get in there, it's easy to clean it out.

Re: Trigger sticking on Iwata Eclipse.

I also just fixed this problem with my airbrush yesterday. I just pulled the trigger out and lubricated the pin at the bottom of the trigger, the one that goes in the trigger hole. My Iwata is a revolution, I don't know how diffrent they are but i just applied a little and it worked perfectly.
Mine started to stick after I cleaned It well with laquer thinner. I think it ate all the oil from the pin and made it stick.

Yup, lube is the answer! I have a small tube I bought at the same time I picked up the 'brush. Only a tiny amount is needed, don't want to go contaminating your pant.
