Fastest WRC Car?

does anyone know which 04-05 WRC car has the fastest, or slowest acceleration time? anyone have 0-60 1/4 mile times?

i heard the subaru WRC has the second slowest acceleration time from a dead stop, but maybe it has good midrange acceleration?

I'm guess that either the new Mitsubishi EVO or Peugeot 307 is one of the fastest when it comes to 0-60. But of course you would also have to factor in whether you are thinking about fastest on dirt, pebbles or tarmac. And when it comes to terrain you have to figure which company uses what tire company which has the best tires for what terrain.

I know that the 307 is def the fastest, because marcus always makes up time on straight high speed stages. Not sure about acceleration though.

you're asking for the fastest out of a set of cars that all run different ratios depending on stage, surface, weather, temperature etc etc etc?

Actually this year the Subaru has the FASTEST off the line acceleration. I think it was rally Argentina in which they did a virtual spectator and the Subaru always came out on top. But it is so hard to compare rally cars because of the different surfaces they are at home on.

Yeah, too many variables. I don't know anything about these cars either. But I'd guess the Suby or Peugot.

well id like to know what their speed is in tarmac spec.

depends on the set-up they chose for the day. that's just it; none of it is fixed. there isn't just one fixed speed for a specific spec.... it's not a video game.

Then lets say a high speed tarmac stage. Like turkey (if its still on the circut tour anyway)

well i know this WRC website did this virtual test thing, or timing to see who got the fastest acceleration time, i think some guy said the citroen was the quickest. i cant see it varying that much in tarmac spec, i dont think the setting is that far off from eachother.
