i dont know the numbers, but gsrs and ITR are special because they were made in japan, not like the other lower models.

well it depends, sometimes they do make round head light ones in japan and ship them, or sometimes they ship the car with out the front bumper and put them on in canada or somthing. But the car itself was still built in japan. There is a way to look at your vin and find the factory number, but i forgot how to do it. But using that info from vin you can track your gsr back to the factory in japan. Another car that is also built and tested for preformance in japan are the nsx. They build them at the main honda facility in japan (which have a oval race track around it) and test them out on the track before they sell them to the public.

I'm really liking the Type R after reading a brochure for the WRX. It compared acceleration and braking. Both cars were comperable in acceleration, but the Type R beat everything out there when it cames to braking (that is, unless they got their #'s wrong).

ITR and WRX are close but WRX got all wheel drive which is useful for track racing.
