Is my amp done for?

I took my amp/subs out of my trunk to make room for a camping trip, and taped up all the wires seperatley(including ground and power). Well there was someone in the trunk said they saw 2 small sparks, today i went to hook everything up and there is nothing, the subs won't turn on and i've tried every different combination for them. I was wondering if these 2 sparks were ground and power touching would that out shorted out my amp?

Probably. Check all your fuses. They are designed to blow before something else blows up, like your battery.
