Yukon problems..
Our family car made lots of noise and we thought it had something to do with the pulleys. (we have had problems with it before) We brought it in to the mechanic and he told us something is wrong with our alternator. My mom picked up the car and she said she still hears that noise (loud, like something is gonna snap and the car will just stop) but it is not as bad as before. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions or info on our problem? btw our car is a few years old and 70,000 miles on it.

Well what kind of noise? Is it a squeal, something grinding, is it all the time, just at idle?
