IAC Location 2000 Rodeo V6

Where can I find the IAC on a V6 DOHC 2000 Rodeo LS 4x2? All I see as far as electrical connectors plugging into the throttle body is the TPS/throttle controller mounted on the passenger side of the TB. What am I missing?

I have a rough and wandering cold idle and hard starts when hot. Assume IAC is stuck/slow to respond. Cleaned the EGR and tube not more than 10,000 miles ago, replaced plugs not more than 15000 ago.

ooooK, so a 2000 model does not have an IAC due to drive-by-wire, from what I have gathered. Seems even the FSM is incorrect about the IAC. Shows an incorrect TB picture for my year truck.

Took the EGR solenoid off and took the TB off and found that the pintle was stuck on the EGR solenoid. Soaked and cleaned it up to make it move freely again and cleaned out the EGR tube in the intake. Also gave the TB a scrub with a toothbrush and Amsoil Power Foam. Made it nice and shiny as well as the EGR solenoid and tube. Put everything back together and disconneted the battery to reset the PCM. Upon restart, MIL came on immediately, but the truck starts and idles properly like it is supposed to. My code reader is out on loan so I took it to AutoZone for them to read.

They plugged in their Actron scanner gizmo and couldn't get it to read. They never started the truck. On my scanner, you have to have the vehicle started to get it to read. They refused to start the vehicle. They took the scanner to another vehicle, a Honda, and it read fine without having to start the vehicle. I was told I had a blown fuse on the DLC. I searched through the FSM for a fuse location and the only fuse I found was for the B+ terminal of the DLC, but it is tied to the Brake Light 15A fuse. My brake lights work so I'm confused.

Anyone had a similar problem with the not being able to read their codes?

No need to start the vehicle with my $39 generic OBDII reader. You just have to turn the key to on. It will read "ERROR" if the key is not on.
