Interior door lights just went out... Help

I have a 99 VW Beetle AEG engine, with 70,000 miles on it. I noticed that this morning the interior dor lights on the bottom-rear part of the doors just topped working. I would think it was just a fuse, but everything else works just fine and I wouldn't think there would be a fuse just for that. Then I thought it could be a bulb problem, but then just disregarded that because both are our... unless it is light a X-Mas tree and if one goes they both go. If anyone can help I would appreciate it!

THe interrior light fuse is # 14 I believe. Its a small small fuse on the upper part I think 15A fuse. The bulbs do burn out in the door. ALso if the door latch fails the light will not come on.
