Lightbulb maximum driver height

Hey, I've been thinking about getting a geo metro for my first car because of the incrediable mileage. Would I fit into the 3 cylender model? I'm about 6 feet. Also, has anyone ever put a bike on a metro? Would a roof top rack work?

I'm 6' and compared to many other larger cars find my '92 is actually less cramped.

Not sure about the bike rack...

hopefully I'll be able to fit a bike on it some how too, because I like to go to new hampshire alot and bike at attitash, and It would be perfect If I could drive up there alot and not worry about gas money. Once gas hits 3 or 4 dollars, I'll be the only one on the road hehehehe

Re: maximum driver height

for what its worth.

I Ice race Geo Metros, fireflys, sprints, etc. I am 6'6 and have no problem fitting into the cars, even with 6 point roll cages in place. I find the geos to be much roomier than most high dollar cars, especially in the legroom department.

If it comes right down to the crunch, you have enough legroom to slide the seat ahead, and lay it back for more head clearance.

Re: maximum driver height

I'm a bit over 6 foot, and I had no problem with headroom. I actually found I had more room behind the wheel of my old 93 4 door hatch than I do in a lot of other cars. Mind you, there was very little room behind the driver's seat after I slid it back all the way, but I didn't often carry people in the back.

6'3" 240 pounds, more comfortable fit in this then my old carolla or my other ride, a 4 runner.

If you goto wal mart or Canadian Tire you can get a bike rack that sits on the hatch (rear door) and holds your bikes that way. If you mean a motorcycle... I have heard of small trailers being put on a metro, never considered trying it myself though.
