92 Lesabre won't start hot

I just picked up a 92 lesabre and i noticed after i drive the car for a long period of time and turn the engine off it won't start again until its cooled down, The guy before me said he just had a used ignotion module put in and i'm wondering if its possible that the used part was bad or if its something else all together.

Also i have a squealing from under the hood when its running.

Hot start problem can be and most the time is a starter problem. If it was an ignition problem, then as soon as the car got hot it would not run right.

When you say, “I noticed after drive the car for a long period of time and turn the engine off it won't start again until its cooled down”. Do you mean that the starter will not turnover, or that the starter does turnover, but the engine will not start or run??

It cranks but i get no spark, I drove it 20 miles today and it all of a sudden quit on me, I let it sit for 25 minutes until it started then ran fine the rest 30 miles. Its like i just stop getting spark and i've already got a brand new starter in it and used ignition module. I really need to figure this problem out so i can get to work and back with worrying if i'm gonna get there.

Re: 92 Lesabre won't start hot

The squealing sound coming from under the hood could be your water pump, alternator, power steering or idler pulley. Pull the drive belt and start the car to see if the noise is eliminated. If so, check each component individually for looseness or noise.
