EF w/ JDM B20B vs. EG w/ B16
Okay, this race has been talked about all over Corona, Ca for a while now....I have a CRX with a JDM B20B, JDM S1 (B16A) tranny, Japanese heavy-duty FCC hi-performance clutch, 10lb lighten & rebalanced Integra Type R flywheel, Integra LS intake manifold, throttle body & exhaust manifold..... Now my friend has a Civic with a B16 with type r pistons & cams I think....other than that he's practically stock.....He use to have a milled head, but something happened to it....so he dished it.....ummm we both have short throw shifters as well, but what my question is.....who do you think will win in a race.....I think it will be a close race....like it depends on the driver (and he suxs...whoop whoop 4 me), but we both have bad ass trannies so....I think I might have an advantage with the bigger displacement.....give me feed back on this....because it's such a fine line between winners & losers for the B16 vs. the B20.....

i would go with the b16....with the itr pistons his compression was raised to about 10.5:1 wich will give hime more torque, and the itr cams will give him a more aggressive lope with a little more overlap. this will give a significant horsepower gain. He can now rev his engine past 8,000 rpm and still make power while you can only rev to 6,000 and loose power toward that rpm. i would go with the b16, But Race and Let Us Know The Outcome I like the b20 just for the B20/vtec it is a bad little engine.
