Got a ticket, but was never filed.
Hey, I just needed some advice. I got pulled over for speeding June 1st. I went to court on June 28th, but they said that my ticket was not filed, and that I should call a certain number in a week. I called that number, and it was a probation number, which was the completely wrong one.
I haven't recieved anything in the mail at all concerning this tiicket, and don't know how to go about paying it. I don't really want to pay for it (which is why I'm skecthy as to going to court all together) but I know that I'll be in deep shit if they pull me on some BS. Any experience on the subject? I also did check the court website and tried to see if they had my ticket on file, and it hasn't been yet. It is now July 16. |

You see, freedom is already been distorted by many politican-victors and they mesmer people into thinking that freedom is free, which is not the case here. Those dumbass politican put a price tag around the concept of freedom- if you don't have any money, then you don't retain your freedom- freedom to eat; buy houses; buy cars; and to name a few, just to be concise. Democracy is not free and it doesn't fit into the defintion of freedom, instead it upholds the concept of Greedom- U.S. views their customers as a major source of revune income, period. And it's a haven for hungry pig-captialist. If you want a true concept of freedom, adopt the concept of Socialism or Welfarism (not sure if that's the correct spelling, but you know what I mean here). I prefer to go with Socialism by paying hefty taxes and get everything what you want/wanted- house, food, car, clothes for free, and to name a few. I completely disagree with Democracy; I completely disagree how politic works in the U.S., it's simply not the will of the people, it's the will of the tryant. I just don't like how it works, and I am in the process of getting a passport and head to Sweden, that's where the TRUE FREEDOM LIES!! |

ya ur kinda right saturn. if u dont have money to pay a ticket then u will go to jail unless u lucky to get community service which also blows. But since i grew up here ive learned to adapt and if i break the law then i have to pay the fine. but o well its not going to change anytime soon

Re: Got a ticket, but was never filed.
OK, I'm saying this once, and only once. This section is for traffic violation questions and advice...not your personal forum to voice your communist manifesto. If you have a political opinion you feel the need to share, keep it in the political section of the Off-Topic forum. If you hi-jack another thread like this, I will give you a vacation.
As to the original question, I honestly have no idea what to tell you man. That is a sucky situation, but I would try and stay on top of it. I can understand your hesitantcy to stir things up too much and cause them to find out where that ticket went. However, if left unchecked, and they do find it...they can put out a warrant for your arrest. Which means the next time you get caught speeding, you will be taken away in cuffs. So I seriously suggest you get on the phone with the court's secrataries and find out what exactly is happening and all of your options/consequences. Because you don't want that coming back to bite you in the a$$.

Re: Got a ticket, but was never filed.
I got a ticket a few weeks ago that was falsely given because he trooper didnt know that they repainted the road and I was in the right, and he said he would check it out before he turned the ticket in. I went ahead and plead not guilty and will go to court in about 5 months over it- not sure what they will do if he doesnt turn it in.
