Any body looking for some high speed fun?

I ran with these guys last week. They are trying to recruit American V8s to run some road races in the northeast at tracks like Pocono, Limerock, and Watkins Glen. Mostly mustangs have signed up. I was hoping to see some variety. If interested check out
http://www.geocities.com/northeastiron/. It was the best $160 I ever spent. Street Legal cars welcome.

i would love to race my car but lol there are to many problems with racing. x1 im to poor to afford it x2 if someone lost control and totaled my car id kill em x3 its to far away.

lol but i do love racing, i cant get on i 95 without racing something anymore. i was on my way back from merrit island today and i seen a 00-02 blue trans am on 528 and i flew up next to him and started reving my engine and i realized it was a cop. omg, scared the hell out of me, but he raced off at like 115 mph. It stoped me from being stupid till i got onto i 95, 95 must mean the speed starts at 95 mph =P. i got next to a red anniversary c5 and i was reving my engine and darting up every few feet then he goes like wot "wide open thottle" and i chase him down at like 155+ due to the fact my speedometer caps out at 155, haha. then he realizes my car aint a lil pussy cat and slows down. Just as i thought i was home free when about 10 miles before my exit when these lil fucking ricers go flying by me, a bmw, a civic ex, and rv4 and a 240sx. im like hell naw not ricers i cant take this no more i get into the fast lane and i floor it of corse my cars in almost redlined at its max, when i see the blue trans am with his lights on, i ease off and watch and laugh as he pulls over the 3000gt, haha

The cops on my section of i95 dont drive normal marked cars, and i know there not normal because alot of them go to my dads dealership for there service. Not one of those cars is marked and not one of them does less then 150 I guarentee it there all supercharged v8's.

Interesting. I know that Ford produced a factory Police package Mustang (It had some funky pedal/shifting sequence that had to be performed to access the higher performance stored in the computer), but I've never seen one actually being used by police, only the leftovers of the vehicles after they're auctioned off.

In California, some police departments allow patrol(wo)men to have their vehicles modded into police interceptors (at the department's expense) ...and the CHP have C4 Vettes, which can occasionally be seen on I-5.

Once here in North Carolina, I nearly got pulled over after seeing what appeared to be a bright red '95 V6 Camaro...and about the time I hesitated, a 350Z went screaming by and got pulled over by that same car

I've also seen black unmarked WS6's and Camaro SS's in Texas numerous times.
