Question '93 Cruise control

Hi again,

On my new 1993 Explorer, the CC doesn't work. The light doesn't even turn on. I checked the fuse under the dash - and it's fine, so what do I do now?

Thanks,
Kimberly

Any luck with your cruise control? I'm having the same problem.

Thanks,
William

Nope, not yet... but I read from other posts, to check your rear lights - that if the bulbs are burned or not working, that that can make the cruise not work. Don't know for sure that it's the same for us... but as soon as I get my truck back from the shop - I'm gonna check.

If your cruise doesn't work and your brake lights don't work either then you probably have a faulty brake pedal switch. Both systems use this switch, to turn lights off and to deactivate cruise when brake is pushed.
