New Instrument Cluster and problem with ETS Light
Hello All.
Just installed another Instrument Cluster in the 1997 Grand Am SE Twin Cam. It did not start, we left key in the run position, waited 10 minutes and it worked. NOW, our ETS Off light stays on. When I press the button the gear shift it goes out (AS LONG AS I KEEP THE BUTTON PRESSED). Once I release the button the ETS Off light comes back. I did not have this problem before. Anyone know what I did wrong. Thanks Joe |

Re: New Instrument Cluster and problem with ETS Light
try to check the wire plug that goes into the clusrer. it may be the prongs on it ya may have to ben them back up some so they can touch. I check every wire from the plug and tested every lead on the cluster they all were working. just got lucky after pluging the cluster back in i hit the plug in wires just right and all started to work till i let go so i bent them all out just a little now everything is working just fine. so good luck hope this is all it is for yourself::::::::
