Z24 S/C Pics, i got a new camera-56k maybe
my gf got me a nice 5 MP camera for my Bday, so i figured id take some picture of the cavy, tell me what you guys think i should do next. I was thinking of going with some wheels, new TB, or a C02 intake.

Are those altezza tailights?
I like the stock look. Nobody will suspect anything until they hear the supercharger whine. Did you ever get the header/exhaust? If not, that should be next.

yeah those are altezza lights, we all got a little rice in us. I have my stock ones just to lazy to put them back on.
I have a pacesetter 4-1 Header, but the rest of the exhaust is stock. |

Re: Z24 S/C Pics, i got a new camera-56k maybe
well i dont want to leave it stock anymore, i see way to many stock cavaliers on the road everyday. There are quite a few cavaliers than im looking to follow in there designs, let see if i can find some good pics of them.
thats just a few ideas i like. |

Re: Z24 S/C Pics, i got a new camera-56k maybe
i'd say to lower the car about 1.5" or so, especially if you plan on getting some new wheels, looks like you got a little 4x4 action going on.

Re: Z24 S/C Pics, i got a new camera-56k maybe
well iwas hoping that going from 16 inch wheels to 17s would make up a good amount of wheel gap.

Re: Z24 S/C Pics, i got a new camera-56k maybe
that's a pretty big misconception people have. you'll still have gap, especially if you're only going with a 1" bigger wheel, with low profile tires the overall diameter of the wheel and tire will probaly be the same as with the 16's. i really think you'll want to lower your car after you get rims. hopefully not.

Re: Z24 S/C Pics, i got a new camera-56k maybe
I concur with lowering the car an inch or so all around. Then do the 17's with rubber bands for tires...makes every little bump and pothole in the road a white knuckle experience.
I'm so afraid my 18's are gonna get bent from the crappy roads around here. ![]() Oh yeah, that first red cavy in the pics you posted is a very nice looking car. I love the wheels and kit, not ricey looking at all.

Really? wow im impressed...I've always said Cavis can be made to be a nice fast, good looking lil car and deserves more respect
and the new rims and tires would be nice...but what else can you do the the Cavi to get more performance out of it now? can you still up the boost on the s/c?

Re: Z24 S/C Pics, i got a new camera-56k maybe
I agree with what bulldog said about the Red cavalier. I don't think I would leave the suspension stock either. I would definately lower it an inch. Bigger rims won't really make up the wheel gap but it does give the illusion that it is taking it up because the rim is larger . I like the stock look though. Pretty cool that you wouldn't be able to hear it without a lould exhaust.
