Intake Manifold Gasket
My 92 350 blew the intake manifold gasket, with a pin leak in the front left. (while in front of vehicle ) Her is my delima, it has 250,000 miles on it. It runs strong, but needs valve stem seals (smokes on start up, and if I let it sit and idle). Heard of replacing valve stem seals, with the heads on. Should I bother or tear it down and re-build? Or buy one from a good friend at a salvage yard, with 67000 miles on it, and build my old one?

Re: Intake Manifold Gasket
I did my stem seals with the heads on. just make sure you have a constant supply of air or you will be pullin the heads. with that kind of milage if you redo the upper end you could get alot of ring blow by.
