knock sensor probs
shit guys, ok i replaced my knock sensor, its tight btw CEL didnt go away, pissed
i rewired the sensor. Cel didnt go way still, super-pissed, yes i reset the ecu each time only thing left is for me to try a new ecu and i dont kno anyone who has a p13 ecu or a vtec prelude for that matter around here so please help any ideas be great

not the ECU
Well, i threw the p14 on there and its tellin me the same thing, My KS is a piece, fuck CEL 23, ive now rewired it cheked the ECM and replaced the knock sensor, so the question is what now, even the HELM's manual doesnt say wat to do

i had the same problem when i did my motor swap....take the knock sensor back off and make sure that nothing looks damaged inside. The knock sensor is only supposed to be tightened a little over hand tight.. it gets severely damaged if you tighten down on it hard. After you do that take both the battery wires off, then put them back on. If the light still comes on there is another way to reset the ecu, but let me know if that works first.

I had the same problem, go to phearable.net they sold me a used ecu and reprogramed it with the knock sensor disabled and also a better program or something, it was only like 165 bucks. I put it in, havent seen that damn cel since.

rewired again and now no probs guess my first rewire was shorting somewhere, thanks
