Cool 65 chevy stepside

Whats up guys. This is my new project right now.Revell's 65 chevy stepside. So far the frame has been c-notched and painted, engine is complete minus wiring and plumbing, and the front suspension is about 75% done. Also I've applied the first coat of red to the 2-tone paint on the cab. Rims are from the revell 99 SVT Cobra mustang kit. Anyway here is a couple pics of this one so far..................*Ryan*

Cool, cool, you never see any classic trucks on here. What is the second color going to be?

well guys hereis a short update on this one. The color choice on the 2-tone has changed due to the fact that I could not find the orange color that I wanted anywhere, nothing even close to it. So I changed the plan a little bit, but I think that it turned out really good anyway. The front suspension is now completed, and the frame is back in putty to clean some things up. I had to remove a couple cross members and then replace them with lower profile ones. I am also going to have to find a lower sitting carb and air cleaner set up as you can see in the pics. anyway here are the pics...............................*Ryan*

Re: 65 chevy stepside

Sorry for not having any updates in a while guys, but I will have some new pics up tommorow. The frame is almost done altho it is still in primer due to not having any paint for it right now. Also fixed the hood fitment problem. Got the silver color seperation line done on the body. Body is drying in clear right now so pics will have to wait until tommorow. Dash is complete and 1 door panel complete. I still need to do the BMF on the cab, paint the chassis, finish up the interior plumb and wire the engine and then just final assembly. This one is shaping up to be one of my personal favorites so far. anyway updates tommorow..............................*Ryan*
